On behalf of the Southeastern VTR Regional 2007 Committee, we would like to welcome you. We are very excited about this event and are glad that you will be a part of our plans. An new approach to hosting this event was developed and
presented to the officers of the participating clubs during the Presidents
meeting of the 2004 SEVTR regional, hosted by the There were issues that were deemed critical in order to fulfill our goals. Our first objective was to establish a representative who would coordinate the details and distribute this information between participants. I have volunteered to fill this role. A second issue was to divide the events responsibilities
to each club. Representatives chose with consideration, a responsibility that
reflected their clubs strength. Listed below are the clubs and the
responsibility they have chosen. It was requested that each club host their
responsibility for two years. In this list you will also see a new member to our
committee, the Triumph Club of the
The Gold Coast Registration at event Triumph Club of Triumph Club of the Georgia Triumph Association Location, Banquet As we refined our plans we realized that with a new concept and approach to the regional, it is important to maintain the affiliation to the VTR and remain a sanctioned event. The above new logo has been designed with the help of Hal Dolby to reflect the unity of the committee. In addition to the logo, other changes are currently underway, this committee will soon be incorporated and registered. Currently under construction is a new website. This site has its own registered domain, and will be the official site and a record of past and current regional events. From this site one will be able to register online, view and submit photos or leave comments. The new address is http://www.sevtr.org. The information above was provided to offer a brief overview of the changes and an idea as to where the regional is headed in the future. Using this concept and building on past experiences I believe this event will grow to be one of the premier VTR events in the country, one everyone will plan his or her calendars around. that will challenge the individual as well as their club. This timed event will require the assembly and disassembly of an item chosen by JK Jackson. These are just a few of the examples of the planning that have already been put into place. In the near future the website will be will provide greater detail to the event. Knowing we have developed an event that will offer everyone who attends a wide variety of options, we want to offer more than just racing and waxing. We wanted it to be informative; so we enlisted several professionals to conduct technical work sessions on topics of great interest to the Triumph enthusiast.
